- Participants will be able to recognize the impact that social media has had on the exacerbation of the youth mental health crisis.
- Participants will be able to identify how social media design and algorithms affect social media use.
- Participants will be able to identify emerging technologies that may impact youth mental health.
- Participants will learn about interventions and advocacy strategies to mitigate the impact on youth of social media and internet technologies including artificial intelligence.
The AAFP has reviewed the Updates in Family Medicine – The Latest in Evidence Based Medicine and Practice Management Best Practices series: Pediatric Mental Health and deemed it acceptable for up to 1.00 Live AAFP Prescribed credits.
